I thought it would be interesting to feature guest bloggers on Seattle 2.0 talking about their area of expertise. There are a lot of service providers out there with experience with startups that certainly can write a better blog post about the subject than I ever could.
Do you, or anyone you know, have expertise on the following topics and would like to write a blog post to Seattle 2.0?
- Business Law: Established the business, protecting your IP, founder agreements, Corp vs. LLP/LLC, Board of Directors/Advisors, company structure and roles.
- Marketing: Branding, Positioning, Naming, Logo, Strategy, Online Advertising, Planning, PR.
- Business Strategy: Partnerships, business planning.
- IT: Setting up, outsourcing, colocation, purchasing HW/SW.
- Recruiting: How to find candidates, compensation, benefits.
- R&D: Outsourcing, finding designers, finding developers.
- Funding: Angel investment, venture capital, debt financing.
- Financial: Keeping tabs, finding an accountant, managing cash, financial projections, tracking forecast vs. actual.
- Real Estate: finding an office, negotiating terms, furnishing.
- International: Making a global product, localization.
The only requirement is that you must be located or actively doing business in the Seattle area.
Send me an email if you want to write about any of the topics above (or any other topic not listed above but relevant to startups and entrepreneurs).
Great event coming in two weeks. Hurry to sign up since they only have 200 spots and 50 are already filled up just a few hours after the announcement.
